Alexandre Herchcovitch Fall '11

The Herchcovitch show is another one I attended, but thanks to the grumpy PR team and overall pushiness, I couldnt get one decent photo for you guys.
But I loved the show nonetheless. Especially because of the neon and black mixing. It is one of my favorite color combos.
Even though the collection is barely light, it still has a lot of humor and irony.

The music was MY FAVORITE PART:
all Siouxsie Sioux, "Belladonna" and "Dazzle"

this is a lovely tailoring job, and the little lace hip detail is too cute. I really wanted to show you guy the gloves, ten bucks to whoever can tell me how they put those gloves on. The gloves are immaculate, and a little scary. This neon and black combo works great together drawing the eye in an interesting way.

This jacket cracked me up with the straightjacket reference. I love the idea, although hailing a cab will be difficult. And the gloves!

I love the darkness of this look, with the models glare and the hood and the scary gloves and all. Siouxsie Sioux perfection!

This look totally said "I will beat you to a pulp, and still be a lady." It's so cute, but deadly too. These gloves will be in my dreams for a looong time!

Neon's nice! Reminds me of OPI's shade in their Serena Williams Glam Slam collection.
